Maharastrian rice:


Ingredients:

Basmati rice-1cup
Cabbage-100g
Onion-1
Tomatoes-2
Green chilly-2
Ginger ,garlic paste-2tsp
Coconut -2tsp
Lemon juice-2tsp
Salt-to taste
Cinnamon-1
Clove-2
Oil-1tsp
Ghee-1tsp

Method:

First cut cabbage onion, tomatoes into small pieces .Split the green chilies. Soak  rice into ½ cup of water.
 Heat cooker add oil& ghee. Add cinnamon, clove, onion,&  green chilly& sauté it well. Add ginger, garlic paste. Add tomatoes, cabbage& salt and sauté it well.
 Add rice with water, Coriander, Coconut,& lemon juice. Pressure cook till one whistle. Then turn the stove into sim, keep it for another 5 mts.
