CHANNA MASALA




Ingredients:
soaked & boiled  channa-1/2 cup
Onion-2
Tomatoes-2
Ginger-1
Garlic-4
Garam masala-1 tsp
Coriander powder-2tsp
Chilly powder-1tsp
Salt –to taste
Oil- as required
Kasuri methi-2 tsp
Bay leaves-1
Cinnamon-1
Clove-1
Boiled &smashed potato-1

Method;

grind onion, tomatoes, ginger, garlic  into a fine paste.Heat oil in a pan, add bay leave, cinnamon, clove.Add onion & tomato paste and sauté well till it turns golden brown.Add coriander powder, chilly powder, salt and turmeric powder and sauté well.Add  boiled channa  and little water.Add smashed potato for thickening.Allow to boil. Add kasuri  methi and garam masala. and garnish with coriander leaves.
