BEETROOT CHANNA KOOTTU


Ingredients:

Channa-1/4 cup
Beetroot-2
Sambar powder-1 tsp

To Grind:

Dhaniya -1tsp
Red chilly -2
Urad dal-1tsp
Gram dal -1 tsp

For Tadaka:

Oil-1 tsp
Mustard seed-1 tsp
Curry leaves

Method:

Cut beetroot into small pieces. In a cooker, add beetroot,  channa and cook it till 5 whistle.
Grind the above grinding ingredients as a nice powder.
In a pan  heat oil. Add mustard seed and curry leaves. Add  boiled beetroot and channa. Cook till it becomes thick gravy.
Add sambar powder and salt. And mix well.
