KOLLU PARUPPU KADAISAL

Ingredients:


Kollu paruppu -1/4 cup
Tomato -1
Small onions -5
Cumin seed -1 tsp
Coriander seed – 1 tsp
Green chilly -2
Curry leaves
Salt – to taste
Tamarind – small size
Garlic -3
Oil -1 tsp
Mustard – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder -1 tsp

Method:

Pressure cook paruppu and tomato till 5 to 6 whistle.
In pan heat oil and add mustard seed, onion, little curry leave, green chili and sauté well.
Add boiled paruppu and tomato mixture.
Add cumin, coriander seeds and turmeric powder and bring to boil.
After 5 mts remove and allow it for cool and add one onion, curry leaves, garlic, tamarind,[everything should be raw].
Finally add salt and grind it as a coarse paste.
