IDDYAPPAM


Ingredients:

Rice flour- 1 cup
Water -1/2 cup
Salt –to taste

For frying:

Onion chopped-1
Tomato chopped-1
Green chilly chopped-1
Curry leaves-4
Oil- as required
Gram dal-1 tsp
Urad dal -1tap
Lemon juice-1tsp

Method:

Boil the water with little salt . Mix with rice flour and make soft dough.
Keep idly maker on a stove. Add little water into that and allow to boil. and keep idli stand inside.
 In a murrukku  Machine, Dump the rice dough and squeeze  over the idly stand. Cook it for 5 mts.
In pan heat oil, and add mustard seeds. When it splutter add gram dal, urad dal. Add chopped onion and tomatoes , green chilly, curry leaves and sauté it well . Add boiled idiyappam  and mix it well .Finally add lemon juice and mix well. Serve with coconut chutney.
