VEG PULAV


Ingredients:

Rice- 1 cup
Chopped onions-2
Green chilly-3
Ginger, garli-2
Cinnamon, clove-2
Cardamon-2
Carrot chopped-2
Beans-4
Potato-2
Green peas-1/4 cup
Salt –to taste
Oil
Ghee-1 tsp
Bay leave

Method:
Soak rice for ½ hr. cut the vegetables into moderate pieces and keep it aside.
Grind green chilly, ginger and garlic as a fine paste.
Heat oil and ghee in a pressure cooker. Add bay leave, cinnamon, clove and cardamom.
Add chopped onions and sauté well .add grinded paste and stir well.
Add vegetables one by one and mix well. Add rice and required water.
Add salt and pressure cook till2 whistle.veg pulav is ready. serve with vegetable stew.
